Page Nine – Terms of use

Last updated 5 November 2026

Page Nine is run by 2764211 Alberta Inc. ("Page Nine", "we", "us"), 157 Covehaven Gardens NE, Calgary, Alberta T3K 6A2, Canada. These terms apply when you use the Page Nine app or website. By using them, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Page Nine.

1. What Page Nine is

Page Nine is a directory of independent people and small businesses in your city: photographers, artists, ceramicists, chefs, musicians, vintage sellers and more. It helps you find them and get in touch.

Page Nine is a directory, not a store. We don't sell anything on behalf of the people listed, take part in your conversations with them, handle payments between you, or act as their agent. Anything you arrange with someone you find on Page Nine (commissions, bookings, purchases, prices, refunds) is between you and them.

2. You don't need an account

You can browse, search and save people without an account. Your saves are kept on your phone only. If you delete the app or change phones, they may be lost.

3. About the listings

People listed on Page Nine write their own entries and supply their own photos. We read every entry before it goes live, to check it's a real, independent person doing their own work in the city, but we don't check every claim, and we can't promise that a listing is complete, accurate or up to date.

We don't guarantee, endorse or take responsibility for anyone's work, products, services, prices, availability, safety or conduct. Being listed, featured or included in a collection on Page Nine isn't a recommendation or a guarantee. Please use your own judgement, as you would with any independent business: ask questions, check reviews or references, and get agreements in writing for anything important.

4. Using Page Nine fairly

When you use Page Nine, please don't:

  • harass, threaten or spam anyone you find through it
  • copy, scrape or collect listings, photos or contact details in bulk, or use them to build another directory or mailing list
  • use people's photos or work without their permission
  • try to break, overload or get around the security of the app or website
  • pretend to be someone else, or use Page Nine for anything illegal

We may block access for anyone who does these things.

5. Photos and content

Each listed person owns their own photos and words and lets us show them on Page Nine. The Page Nine name, logo and design belong to us. You may share links to Page Nine and to individual pages (pagenine.ca/p/[name]); please don't copy the content itself elsewhere.

6. Reporting a listing

If a listing looks wrong, misleading, unsafe or uses someone else's work, email [email protected] with the person's name and what's wrong. We'll look into it and may change, pause or remove the listing.

7. The Letter

If you sign up for the Letter, we'll email you once a month. You can unsubscribe anytime with the link in every email. See our Privacy policy for how we handle your email address.

8. No warranty

We work hard to keep Page Nine running well, but we provide it "as is". We don't promise it will always be available, error-free or suit your needs.

9. Limits on our responsibility

To the extent the law allows, Page Nine isn't responsible for any loss or damage that comes from your dealings with anyone listed, from relying on a listing, or from using or being unable to use the app or website. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.

10. Changes

We may update these terms as Page Nine grows. We'll change the date at the top, and for important changes we'll let you know in the app or on the website. If you keep using Page Nine after a change, the new terms apply.

11. The law that applies

These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
